Joan Jett

By the time Micki met Joan Jett from the bands, The Runaways and Joan Jett and The Black Hearts, he was well known for creating black leatherwear for punk artists such as the Ramones and Iggy Pop. Joan’s hard playing style was the personification of women in Rock N’ Roll. Micki designed a sleek look for Joan in black leather with zippers, studding, safety pins and straps. This look became an anchor for rockers to come.
