Grand Master Flash & the Furious Five

When Micki met Flash, Mel, Scorpio and the guys, they were a crew from the Bronx on a mission to define Hip-Hop as the preeminent music of a new generation of youth. Their cutting-edge, lyrics and tight grooves inspired Micki to elevated their street swag into a sleek, internationally recognized style comparable to Rock Royalty, which he knew so well. Micki became closely associated with GMF5 and their careers, starting a long, genuine relationship with the group particularly, Mel, Scorpio and Tommy Gunn. Micki was in attendance as GMF5 became the 1st Hip-Hop group inducted into the Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame.
